Rank 458 out of 500 sounds modest until you read the method. TIME partnered with Statista on a data-based evaluation of education-technology companies, then published the top five hundred worldwide on financial performance and industry impact.

01TEK is on that list. We are the only Moroccan company — and the only North African company — on it. We did not apply. For a self-funded company in Agdal, Rabat (founded 2021), that independence matters more than any paid placement would.

Here is what we want directors to take from the number — and what we refuse to pretend it means.

It means the work was visible without lobbying. Statista’s research found us. That is a different kind of proof than a sponsored award.

It means Morocco is on the map of serious EdTech — not only as a market to sell into, but as a place that ships. When a director in Casablanca or Rabat asks “is this real?”, the ranking is one independent answer. The better answer is still a live campus on a school morning.

It does not mean we are finished. Rankings do not mark who is absent at 8:10. They do not translate a parent note. NVIDIA Inception, Google for Startups, and AWS Activate sit behind the infrastructure because we treat exam weeks as non-negotiable.

Why join us now? Because the founding cohort is when a school’s identity — not our brand — becomes the face parents see, while the operating layer underneath is already running in founding classrooms this school year. Because “why Morocco?” is no longer only a philosophical question; TIME and Statista answered it in public.

Share this with a colleague if useful. Then bring your timetable to 01tek.ma. We would rather talk about your school day than our press clipping.
