Deep tech from Morocco — built for exam week, not for the pitch deck
Conseils d’administration ask a fair question: if AI and cloud tools fail, who owns the risk — the vendor’s slide deck, or the school’s reputation?
We chose the harder path: build from Agdal, Rabat, and design for the week when the network coughs, the exam schedule does not move, and “the cloud was slow” is not an acceptable explanation for a missing gradebook.
That is why we sit in NVIDIA Inception, Google for Startups, and AWS Activate — not as decoration, but as infrastructure discipline. Trust in the classroom cannot be fully outsourced to a black box on another continent and still feel like the school’s own.
Independent recognition arrived when TIME and Statista placed 01TEK on the World’s Top EdTech Companies 2026 list (#458 — only company from Morocco). We did not apply. Useful as a first meeting, useless as a substitute for a live Monday.
What we still owe directors: more schools live, more language polish, fewer nights when a parent message is wrong. That is the work. If you want a partner that talks about exam-week trust instead of buzzwords, start at 01tek.ma.
